Question for CA residents - Boulder Creek?

Does anybody know anything about Boulder Creek? I found a website for them with tourist-type info, but what I really want to know is if they have any BSL I should be concerned about. We might be taking a road trip there in July with our buddy, and I told him the only way I can go is if Loki can go.
