Dog shot by SWAT officers



FLORIDA -- Orange County SWAT team members shot a rottweiler while executing a search warrant yesterday evening near the Holden Heights neighborhood.



The dog charged the entry team at the home in the 1400 block of 41st Street. Officers were there to serve a narcotics search warrant, according to Orange County Sheriff's Office records.



The dog was injured and ran to the back yard after being hit. Orange County Animal Services took the wounded dog after the search warrant was executed.
