Man Seriously Injured in Pit Bull Attack

MILWAUKEE, WI -- A man lost genital parts and suffered serious bite injuries to his arms and legs after he was attacked by two pit bull terriers that escaped from a fenced yard in Milwaukee Saturday night.

He was taken to Froedert Hospital and his condition was not available Monday morning.

The Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission is holding the dogs under rabies quarantine, and the Milwaukee Police and the city's Department of Neighborhood Services are holding them as strays.

They will be euthanized if they are not claimed after the 10-day quarantine.
